The Quiet Call of a Truer Life
My poem for this painting:
She no longer looks backward for answers.
Her hands rest where knowing becomes courage.
This isn’t longing.
It isn’t escape.
It’s recognition —
a quiet certainty gathering in her chest,
whispering: your dream is not impossible
She isn’t breaking.
She isn’t wrong.
She is learning to trust
the direction her heart has always known,
and the call that grows clearer
the moment she turns toward it.
This is the quiet call of a truer life.
FLORAL SYMBOLISM:
ROSES:
Symbolise truth and self-respect. Here, they represent a life aligned with what is genuinely wanted, not what is expected or performed.
HELLEBORE:
A flower that blooms in difficult conditions. Represents quiet resilience and the courage to choose differently, even when the timing isn’t ideal or the path isn’t easy.
LILY OF THE VALLEY:
Associated with renewal and clarity. Marks the moment when an inner knowing becomes impossible to ignore — the beginning of a truer way forward.
DIAMOND BRACELET:
Represents awareness rather than adornment. A reminder that clarity often arrives in small, precise moments — brief flashes of certainty that confirm we are listening to the right voice.
Hidden Key:
Every painting contains a hidden antique key for you to find.
A symbol of awakening, buried dreams rising, and the woman you are becoming.
Quote that inspired this piece:
“When a life no longer feels big enough, it isn’t because something is wrong — it’s because something is ready.” – Anon
