Where Possibility Whispered
Quote that inspired this piece:
“Some of us think holding on makes us strong, but sometimes it is letting go.” - Herman Hesse
My poem for this painting:
She lowers her gaze to quiet the world, letting every whispered opinion fall away.
In the hush that follows, her inner world softens -
loose strands of thought drifting like her hair, where orchids bloom with the grace and quiet strength she's carried all along.
In this stillness she finally hears the truth she's been circling:
the life she wants has been calling to her for years,
and now.....she is beginning to see it's possible.
Like the small bird that rises on the wing - unbound, effortless -
a symbol of the freedom she's on the verge of claiming.
Its ascent echoes her own: leaving the familiar,
leaving the dimmed versions of herself,
rising toward a future bright with beginnings.
Everything she seeks has always been there,
waiting for the moment she chooses herself.
FLORAL SYMBOLISM:
White orchids are often associated with quiet strength, grace under pressure, and resilience carried with elegance. Chosen here to reflect a woman who has endured without hardening — whose softness has never been weakness, but a form of strength she is only now beginning to recognise as her own.
HIDDEN KEY:
(every painting contains a hidden key for you to find).
A symbol of awakening, buried dreams rising, and the woman you are becoming.
