The Beginning of Her Becoming — Release Now Closed

My latest fine art release, The Beginning of Her Becoming, has now officially concluded.

Thank you to the collectors who acquired pieces from this series, and to everyone who followed its unfolding, shared the paintings, read their stories and took the time to connect with the work. That response is deeply appreciated.

This collection explored the moment when change, after growing quietly beneath the surface, begins to make itself known. Across the figurative paintings, florals and still lifes, I returned to ideas that continue to sit at the heart of my work: transformation, courage, beauty, hope and the gradual process of becoming more fully oneself.

The Beginning of Her Becoming also marked the third chapter of The Turning Point—my continuing story of awakening and reinvention told through words and paintings. Through the world of Evangeline Hart, each new work becomes part of a larger narrative, allowing the paintings to exist not only as individual pieces, but as fragments of an unfolding life.

With this release now complete, work has already begun on my third and final fine art collection of 2026. The earliest ideas are taking shape in the studio through sketches, colour studies, botanical references and the first quiet indications of the story the new paintings will eventually tell.

There is always a brief moment at the end of a release when one chapter closes and the next remains almost entirely unseen. It is one of my favourite stages of the creative process: the point at which possibility begins gathering, long before the finished work reveals itself.
